Our Grad Nurse Residency Program for Spring/Summer Grad Nurses offers placements across a variety of units, including:

  • Trauma General Surgery
  • Clinic (Outpatient Float Pool)
  • Tele
  • Ortho Joint Trauma
  • Ortho Med/Surg
  • Med/Surg
  • Neuro Surgical Trauma
  • Medical Oncology
  • Float Pool (Inpatient Clinical Support Unit)
  • Please note that unit availability is subject to change based on hospital needs. *

Things You Should Know

Our residency programs have a few requirements that must be met prior to starting:

  • Must have a Nursing Degree (ADN, BSN, MSN).
  • An Idaho RN license (some units require secondary licensure in the state of Oregon).
  • Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
  • An active and unexpired Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network.
  • Additional certification may be required depending on the unit.
