Full time, District School Nurse position. To begin January 2021 

JOB GOAL: To advance the well-being, academic success, and life-long  achievement of students. The School Nurse supports the school district as a  positive health advisor and advocate. 

Performance Responsibilities: 

Adheres to state and agency guidelines and policies. 

Works to reduce the incidence of health related absenteeism. 

Assists in the control of communicable disease in the schools. 

Coordinates and participates in the implementation of school health services,  policies and procedures. 

Assures that such policies and procedures adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.

Requires a valid Idaho State Board of Nursing license to practice as a Registered Nurse and a current Idaho Pupil Personnel Services Certificate with School Nurse endorsement-optional. (Or ability to complete within one year) 

Salary based on current year certified Career Ladder salary schedule.
