The Foster Grandparent program is looking for some speakers

Posted over 5 years ago by Marcia Watt, RN, BSN, NCSN

Hello!
I am writing from The Foster Grandparent Program of the Treasure Valley. Foster Grandparent volunteers provide support to children with special or exceptional needs in the Treasure Valley. They create meaningful relationships with children by providing tutoring, encouragement and companionship on a one-on-one basis in schools, Head Starts, and juvenile correction facilities.

We are a nonprofit and are looking for a speaker to present to about 50 of our volunteer Grandparents. Dates needed are
September 25th (Nampa) and the 26th (Boise). And as well as for October 23 (Nampa) and 24th (Boise). The presentation would be about an hour long including time for questions and answers.

I’m sure there will be questions that I’ve not answered so please feel free to call me- or have the potential speaker call me. J

Thank you so much.
Anne
