SNOI Conference 2020 *POSTPONED to 2021*

Posted about 4 years ago by Terri Lindemann

Press "pause" on your plans to attend SNOI's 2020 annual conference. The Board of Directors met Monday, April 6, 2020 and voted unanimously to postpone the annual conference to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, our conference will be held in the same location AND on the same dates one year later. Our topics, speakers and vendors will likely be very much the same. Anyone who has already registered will receive a full refund within 7 business days.

Credit Opportunity

The board recognizes that attendance at the annual conference is a value to our members and non-member school nurses across the state. Contingency planning is underway to provide an opportunity for credit-bearing activities this summer. This will likely be in the form of virtual gatherings centered around a book study. Stay tuned for more details!

Virtual Member Meeting Planned

Just because the conference is postponed, does not mean that the business of our organization has stopped. Plans are underway for a virtual member meeting to conduct the business of SNOI: officer elections, bylaw updates, budget, reports of the officers, etc. Details have not been confirmed yet, but you can expect the virtual member meeting to happen on June 9 or 10, 2020. It will be vitally important that we reach a quorum of members involved in the meeting so that this important business can be conducted! Watch the announcement section for details and directions to RSVP to this event!
