Special Election Results for President-Elect 2021-2022
Julie Douty is President-Elect for the 2021-2022 year. Julie obtained her MSN from Northwest Nazarene University and her BSN from Boise State University. She is the Director of Health Services for Vallivue School District in Caldwell, Idaho.
Board Member Openings
SNOI is seeking members to fill the vacant Area 4a and 3 Representative positions. Area Representatives network with other school nurses in their area to communicate information about districts and health departments and relay that information to the
SNOI Board of Directors. Area Representatives also share information from SNOI with area school nurses. If interested, please email nichole.piekarski@gmail.com
Area 3 serves Adams, Canyon, Gem, Owyhee, Payette, and Washington counties;
Area 4a serves Ada (Boise School District, Idaho Catholic Schools), and Elmore counties, Cole Valley Christian Schools.
Save the Date!
The annual SNOI Conference will be held in person June 14 and 15 from 8am-5pm, hosted by Vallivue School District. Back to the basics topics will include nursing self-care and wellness, student health plans, caring for students with common conditions, CPR recertification, vendors and many more. A SNOI Book Study for credit will also be offered at the conference. Interested nurses will register for the book study and complete the reading ahead of time. During the conference, nurses will complete their credit obligation by meeting for about an hour to discuss the assigned book. More information about the conference and the book study will be shared soon.
