Healthy Schools Program - Application for School Nurse Funding

I am happy to announce that the Healthy Schools Program directions and application are now ready to be accessed. The Idaho Department of Education anticipates funding to support 6-15 school nurse positions.  Funding will be for either 1 FTE ($40,000) or .5 FTE ($20,000) and be available for three years (2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27).

Please know that this is a competitive grant process and the due date of this application is February 15, 2024 at 4PM MST. In the event of a scoring tie, time stamp will rank applicants. This email was sent to LEA business managers, superintendents, and charter school administration; feel free to forward this email as needed.
